Awesome community Mountain biking event held out at Showka
on Friday, over 250 entrants competing in 4 categories, Elite,
Expert, Newbies and Women's.. Adventure HQ had 7 riders
participating across the 3 categories claiming 2 x second places
and third place.

Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon

2107 entrants. 1546 straining runners at the starting
line, 1482 finishers. And being recognized officially as the
fastest half marathon in the world! Adventure HQ was up at the Ras
Al Khaimah Marathon over the weekend to support the most successful
half marathon race in the region.

Trans Hajar, Oman

The Trans Hajar 4 day Mountain Bike Stage race in Oman was
competed over the weekend by 3 BMC Riders (2 from UAE and 1 from
Spain). It was a great event with riders travelling from all over
the world to compete. BMC riders got 5th (Marcel from Spain) and
15th (Matt from UAE Team).

Al Tayer Fun in the Sun

Adventure HQ supported the Al Tayer Industries 'Fun in the
Sun' day at Nad al Sheeba with an exciting 5 tier adventure race.
With prize money involved, 15 teams of 8 people each raced through
a relay made up of a variety of challenges including an MTB relay
race, a speed climb wall, the Adventure HQ bike pump track and a
sand bag challenge.

2xU Triathlon Series: Race 2

The second race in the 2xU triathlon series saw over
300 people braved the windy conditions to
take part at the Mamzar
Beach Park. With
the
SuperSprint,
Sprint and Olympic distances open to athletes of
all fitness levels - the race saw hardened triathlon veterans
competing along-side first time triathletes for prizes sponsored by
2XU, Probike
and Adventure HQ. The last of the 2UX Triathlon
Series events will be held in March.
